Officer 728 "victim" tells CJAD his story

Posted By: Claude Beaulieu · 10/12/2012 9:57:00 AM

Rudi Occhietti says he appreciates how police director Marc Parent has apologized for officer Stephanie Trudeau's behaviour, but he has told CJAD that he can't forget how none of the police officers who responded to Trudeau's general call for assistance Tuesday of last week thought to say or "do" anything about it.

When asked if he and his friends will sue the police force and the city, Occhietti says they're thinking about their options.

In the meantime, he says, two of those friends who were arrested on suspicion of obstructing a police officer must still report to police for fingerprinting and mug shots.

I truly hope these latest victims do press charges. It may be the only way to get her fired.

She's been a known loose canon for a long time and should never again work in public service, unless and until rehabilitated.

Enough of bad police officers protecting each other. Decent officers would not want a bad cop among them!

I truly admire the good cops out there, doing their level best in difficult circumstances and having to put up and shut up about their bad apples.
    Good on you!
