VANCOUVER - RCMP investigators are interviewing those who knew a BC teen suspected of taking her own life after months of bullying.

Sergeant Peter Thiessen says investigators are looking at all areas in the death of 15-year-old Amanda Todd.

He says that includes social media, past conversations, postings, and past actions on social media by anyone who may have come into contact with Amanda.

Thiessen adds that gathering evidence is difficult, and that's why it's important for the public to come forward.

Police have set up an email address for people to send tips.

Thiessen says there are a number of areas within the Criminal Code that could be applied in thid case.

The BC coroner's office says preliminary indications suggest Todd took her own life this week.

Her death came just a month after she posted a haunting video on YouTube describing the repeated cyber and physical bullying she suffered.

It is disgusting what bullying has become. This poor girl made one wrong decision, it blew out of proportion and it made her take her own life in the end. As I read her messages in the video she posted, my heart sank. I had to turn away when she showed her self inflicted injuries. I can't describe the disgust and anger I feel knowing that bullying is at the point of taking innocent lives more and more often. This girl did not deserve what she went through. No one does. I experienced bullying when I was younger but, nothing quite like this. I send my condolences to her family and am extremely sorry for their loss. I truly hope that we find a solution to this reoccurring issue and hopefully that day is much sooner than later.

How truly sad and heart rending this video was. It is tragic beyond words that no one heard or saw her cries for help, for love, for support, for anything! RIP Amanda may you get the peace that life so cruelly denied you! :-(

How many people have to die before kids take this bullying issue seriously?? How can they live with themselves knowing that they contributed to the death of a person? Shame on these people!
