It seems Quebec cabinet minister Bernard Drainviville wants to meet with mayor Tremblay.

The Canadian Press reports Drainville, who's responsible for democratic institutions, wants to meet as soon as possible to discuss finance reforms involving municipal parties.

The city, as well as the mayor and his party, Union Montreal, have been accused of corruption and collusion since the start of the Charbonneau commision.

Former construction boss Lino Zambito testified he gave the party a three per cent kickback from city contracts he secured.
