Police looking for two suspects in downtown robberies
Montreal police are looking for two suspects following a string of robberies involving females who left downtown banks or money exchange offices.
Authorities say the suspects slashed the tires of vehicles belonging to clients who left with what is described as an important sum of money. The suspects would then allegedly steal the money when the driver would realize what was wrong.
Police say one would pretend to help, the other would grab the money.
It's not clear how much money was taken in all.
Police say as many as six people were involving in the operation.
Both suspects are 5 feet 6, one weighs 130 pounds, the other 170.
