Three Quebecers have been charged in Lethbridge, Alberta in what police say is a fraud scheme that spread across southern Alberta.

Police allege the three hacked into computers to steal identification, then impersonated Albertans to steal money using forged bank cards.

It's alleged more than 88-thousand dollars was stolen from banks and loan companies in Calgary and five other centres in southern Alberta.
