Gas prices soaring

Fill that tank now if you need to.

The price of gas appears to be soaring.

The price of a liter of regular has jumped at some stations by 15 cents to $1.41.

Prices have largely fallen in the past week or so.

They've been at about $1.25 for regular.

The gas prices in Ontario have been mostly steady for the last four weeks so how do these robbing b#$@#$%^^&'s here justify these price rip offs?

@Jon Welcome to La Belle Province du Québec. Bottom line it is all for the $$$$$ - to pay all the corruption. My daughter lives in Ottawa and gas there is at 119.4 at most 121.4 - where is the logic ???

you said that gas was going up to 139.9 yesterday but then it has went down, are you sure this time the jump is for real?

@guyinmtl to guyinmtl - the reason the gas did not go up on the FIRST increase of the week was because ULTRAMAR and a few other companies REFUSED to increase. This one was forced on them - and yes it did go up to 139.9 - in Montreal there were a few station at 141.4$

I ran around a little yesterday, and found three stations selling at 125.4 (off island mind you :-). Apart from being hilarious, it was somewhat frightening to see the aggression of people cutting others off to try and save this one time .15. Even a hundred litres of the stuff is only $15 one time.

My good people this isn't RRSP time, and neither is it armageddon. The prices won't stay up there very long. You're just a little miffed that you didn't fill up before this recent increase is all. Deep breath, and let's see what the prices are at in a week :-)
