	Another councillor quits Union Montreal Posted By: Laura Casella lcasella@astral.com · 12/6/2012 10:47:00 AM Mary Deros, executive committee member and councillor for Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc Extension, has quit Union Montreal. She will now sit as an independent. She tells CJAD news she made the decision after yesterday's first public executive committee meeting. She says it was a good working, transparent meeting and it convinced her that sitting as an independent would be in the best interest of her citizens. Deros has been in council since 1998.
