Longueuil cops want to talk to suspect's acquaintance
Police in Longueuil are looking for a man who was seen on a gas station surveillance tape over the summer chatting with a 23-year-old man, Simon Bonneville, who's facing a manslaughter charge in the death of his girlfriend.
The case dates back to the early-morning hours of July 29, when a woman was found dead at a home on Oasis St. in Brossard. Shortly after, at 2:08 a.m., Simon Bonneville was seen on surveillance video at an Ultramar station on Lapinere Blvd. in Brossard speaking with another man -- the one police are now looking for.
They believe he may know more about the case, and want to find out what connection, if any, he may have with Bonneville.
The unidentified man is not considered a suspect.
Bonneville has appeared in court to answer to the involuntary manslaughter charge.
Police ask that anyone with information call 450-463-7211.
