Radio Canada reports Helene Di Salvo has been appointed Quebec Superior court judge. Di Salvo, who's been a prosecutor for 12 years, has worked a number of sensational cases, including most recently Luka Magnotta. He's charged with dismembering international Concordia student Jun Lin earlier in the year. The case returns to court in March.
