Police in Longueuil are on the lookout for a man they say sexually assaulted at least one young woman on the southshore, possibly at gunpoint.

They say an eighteen-year old woman was grabbed by a masked suspect -- a man in his mid-20's -- as she walked on a bike path near the corner of Milan and Rome boulevards in Brossard early last Saturday evening.

The victim had just gotten off a southshore transit bus when she was assaulted.

Longueuil police plan to deploy a mobile command post tomorrow evening near the spot where the attack occured. They have yet to determine if there might have been other victims.
