SPCA on the lookout for dognapper
The Montreal SPCA is asking the public's help in looking for a man who snatched a dog from the SPCA's main facility on Jean-Talon St. W. on Saturday afternoon.
At about 2:10 p.m., security cameras caught the man taking the dog, a 3-month-old female Lab/Shepherd mix, out of a cage, and leaving the facility.
He was then seen going to the parking lot and leaving in a light-colored brown hatchback with two passenger doors.
He did not fill out the adoption papers, nor did he pay the adoption fees.
The SPCA is asking anyone who knows him, or who may have seen him, to contact them immediately at 514-735-2711, extension 0.
