53 per cent.

That's how much of the city's record snowfall was removed as of Wednesday morning.

The city provided another update today, saying so far so good.

The city continues to reiterate the need for motorists to respect no parkings signs.

"The city of Montreal is always a challenge because it's 10-thousand kilometers of sidewalks and streets. We can have co-operation from the public and, in fact, we do thank the public, but, as always, if you can remove your car when you see the orangy signs because everytime that we have to tow a car, it slows down the convoy by 10 minutes and last year we did 30-thousand car rows", said city spokesman Jacques-Alain Lavalée.

The city is providing free overnight parking during the snow removal operation.

You can call 3-1-1 to find out where or head for the city's website under deneigement.
