Flu hits Montrealers hard

This flu season is proving to be one of the worst in years.

Doctor Renee Pare is director of public health in Montreal.

"There were over 100 people in the emergency this morning because of the flu".   Dr. Pare says one of the reasons Montreal has been hit hard is because so far only about a quarter of the population has been vaccinated and this year we're dealing with new strains.  Fortunately these new strains are in the vaccine.

Even though the flu season began earlier in November.

Pare says it's not too late to protect yourself, and you should, because the worst is still to come.

"We are at the peak, the plateau in a few weeks, so it's still important to get the vaccine if you haven't yet".

Pare says children have been hit particularly hard, especially infants.

The vaccine is still available, being offered by your doctor, in hospitals and many CLSC's.

The reason why there may be a decrease in people who are willing to get the flu shot is probably because it's hard to trust big pharma.. there's always word going around about something negative in the media that relates to them. It's just like how many smaller-time scientists are discovering all kinds of cancer preventions and cures from hemp oil to proper diets free of GMO's, pesticides and processed food in general such as the 80/10/10 diet.

Yet we are told that they want to inject us with some kind of unknown serum to prevent the common flu? And we're supposed to trust a multi-billion dollar industry that would choose a dollar over humanity any day?

I got the flu vaccination. It did not help me. I was sick with the flu for 12 days. I had every symptom. So, what was the point of the vaccination?
