Never received treatment for aneurysm
A man is angry that his wife never received any treatment for a brain anuerysm in the three months between her diagnosis and her death.
70 year old Francoise Gervais died in November and her husband Gérard Olivier told the Journal de Montreal that her death could have been prevented.
At the time, the neurologist told Olivier that considering the size of his wife's aneurysm, it's inconceivable that no one did anything about it.
Gervais was originally diagnosed on August 15th.
She had an appointment with a neurologist on October 30th, but it was cancelled.
She died five days later.
Olivier has filed complaints with the Fleury and Notre-Dame hospitals and the Quebec College of Physicians.
