60% of Charbonneau budget spent
The Charbonneau Commission has made its way through 60 per cent of its funding, but still has ten months to go.
The Gazette says it's obtained documents through Access to Information showing the commission has spent $8.8 Million of the $14.6 Million it was originally allocated back in October 2011.
More than a third has gone to staff salaries and the rest to fees, honorariums and administrative costs like rent and office supplies.
A report from last September said by that time, the commission had spent $5.6 Million.
