Ski operators thrilled with snowfall
Mounds of snow may be unwelcome in the city, but for skiing there's nothing better than a snowfall.
Ski hills say they are noticing a difference with all the snow this year.
Annique Aird at Mont Tremblent isn't complaining.
"It's quite overwhelming actually, because it's the best beginning of the season we've had in fifteen years and the snow accumulation is just outstanding."
Over at Mont Sutton, spokesperson Mireille Simard says trails opened three weeks earlier than last year.
"We registered an increase of 2.5 times of skiers and snowboarders on the slopes this year."
They cannot control the weather, but they hope the extra powder can stretch the season out until April.
