The STM is introducing a rewards program for some of its most loyal customers.

If you sign up for Opus a l'Année, the program where you get your Opus card recharged automatically every month, then you're now eligible for Maestro status.

With Maestro status you can bring a friend along for free rides on the bus and metro on evenings and weekends.

You'd also be allowed to ride the bus for free in Quebec City, where they use a similar Opus card system.

Users are also entitled to those benefits if they're signed up for the Opus et Compagnie program, where companies agree to contribute to the purchase of monthly passes.
