Collapsed Big O parking lot reopened
The section of a parking lot at the Olympic Stadium that caved in last spring has reportedly been rebuilt at a cost of $5 million.
The interior parking on Viau has apparently been open since December 17th.
An Olympic Park spokesman is reported as saying that $1 million is being sought from the Saputo family, owners of Saputo stadium.
A huge cement section collapsed last March during work under the Olympic Stadium, but no one was hurt.
The work was connected to the expansion of the nearby Saputo stadium.
Roughly 600 tons of earth was removed following the collapse.
