Ambulance techs strike deal with government
There's a tentative agreement in place between striking ambulance workers and the Quebec government.
The 2,500 aumbulance workers affiliated with the CSN and the FTQ have been on strike since Christmas Eve, though they have been required by law to provide full service.
Health minister Réjean Hébert says he's confident the deal with be ratified by the workers. He won't reveal what's in the deal, though it's expected to address pension issues, and issues with pay scales.
