Arrests made in two fatal hit and runs

Police in Terrebonne tracked down a suspect late last night, into a fatal hit and run.

A 32-year old man is believed to have been behind the wheel of a car that struck and killed a 53 year old woman who was walking along Boulevard des Seigneurs at around six last evening.

He'll be in court in St-Jerome this morning to face several charges including fleeing the scene of an accident, impaired driving,  dangerous driving causing death and not having a valid driver's permit.

A 26 year old man will be arraigned in  Sherbrooke court on charges related to a fatal hit and run early Saturday.

19-year old  Roxanne Bouffard-Cyr was killed instantly and friend who was walking with her was injured.

The suspect was arrested last night and faces charges that include dangerous driving causing death and fleeing the scene.
