Anti-frackers watched

The Mounties and Canada's spy agency are taking a special interest in opponents of shale gas exploration because of fears of radicalization.

Documents obtained by La Presse through Access to Information show the concerns date back to 2011.

There is particular worry that the Canadian ecology movement may fall under the influence of more radical American groups including Earth First and Occupy Wall Street.  That group - whose name comes from the Occupy Wall Street movement - has an on-line Anti-Fracking Pledge of Resistance already signed by some Quebecers.

Sorry, the protesters are already radicalized. The one thing you Can say about the RCMP & CSIS is that they are Always out in right field and Always a day too late.
