A 40-year old man, a teacher at the private College Bourget in Rigaud has been arrested and has been charged in Valleyfield court with having a sexual relationship with a 15-year old girl.

Mathieu Chamberland was picked up by police Thursday.

He faces charges of having sexual contact with a person under 16, inciting sexual contact and using his computer and the Internet to initiate sexual contact.
Chamberland  is married has three kids.

The school has already held assemblies with students to explain the situation.

Parents received letters Monday.
