Police have been searching for a week now for a man who went missing from his home in Lachute.

61-year old Gary Forster  was last seen by his wife January 13th.

She also spoke with him on the phone the next day.

A missing person's page on Facebook, which was started last night, says Forster is believed to have disppeared January 15th while running errands , but Sûreté du Québec  spokeperson Benoit Richard says even that's not clear.

"We have no idea, did he go for errands or did he have a call or a meeting?" he said.

Police are also on the lookout for Forster's grey 2004 Toyota Corolla. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact 1-800-659-4264
