Dawson whistle-blower weighs job offers

The Dawson College student that exposed a security flaw in the CEGEP's software and was subsequently expelled has at least a dozen job offers to sift through—including one from the company which originally accused him of a cyberattack.

According to Dawson administration, Hamed Al-Khabaz was expelled for repeatedly infiltrating the system.

They say his actions were unprofessional, but Al-Khabaz thinks his attitude is just what employers want.

"For future jobs, they usually want people like this: people who love to risk stuff for the better, not just be a regular student and live a normal life," he explained.

Last night, Al-Khabaz says he received a job offer from the President of Skytech, which develops the software used by Dawson.

As of yet, Al-Khabazm admits he is still unsure which offer he'll take.

    Well played, sir.
This has become a major news story. Hamed did them a favor, and should have been rewarded, not expelled.
Good luck with the job offers.
