OMG!! He is / was my ObGyn in 2005/2006. He took care of me throughout my entire pregnancy and shortly after too when I was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer after the birth of my little girl in Feb 2006. I was hospitalized during my ENTIRE pregnancy because of a severe nausea that had required I.V Hyper Alimentation and other complications..He went above and beyond for me and I owe mine and my daughters life to him,,I am shocked and saddened that this has happened..I find it really hard to understand how it is that the ER doctor or was not the one held responsable ,,Being a RN myself I know for a fact that Doctors and Nurses alike are over worked and unfortunately at times because of long hrs in surgery or shifts the Doctors sometimes will get the attending to take care of their patients when they have just finished an already long and arduous shift. It is for the patients well being that the Doctor and Nurses overseeing the patient that they rest up before resuming their shifts..This saddens me that a fine Doctor such a Kenneth Chan is no longer practicing ,,I now have to find another Doctor that I can trust which is extremely hard to do !! My deepest sympathies go out to the family of the young woman.
