An apartment fire broke out Friday afternoon in Montreal's north end.

It happened in Ahuntsic, in a fourth floor unit of the five story structure at the corner of Henri-Bourassa and Papineau.

The complex has 24 apartments, but four were damaged.

It took roughly 50 firefighters an hour and a half to extinguish the blaze.

No one was hurt and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
