A big investment announcement today concerning Quebec.

American rail-freight operator CSX Corporration has taken the wraps off a 93.3-million dollar project to build a shipment centre in Valleyfield.

It's a total investment of over 107-million dollars.

The province and the municipality are said to be kicking in more than 21-million dollars.

Construction of the 36-hectare intermodal terminal is scheduled to begin this spring, will last two years or so, and it's expected 600 temporary jobs will be created.

It's reported about half will be permanent positions.

They lost so many jobs at that plant and quebec say they are creating jobs and then we have to pay the unemployment benefits. Don't forget to be aware of the language police? translation would be XSC everything is backwards here.. the cost in having it in quebec...The Csst racket..etc..
