Engineer Michel Lalonde is back on the stand at the Charbonneau Commission, talking about former city of Montreal city manager Robert Abdallah.

Lalonde, the president of Génius Conseil, spoke of a meeting in 2005 with former construction entrepreneur Lino Zambito, and a senior representative for the sewer-pipe manufacturer Tremka.

It was agreed that Zambito would buy sewer pipes from Tremka for an urgent job being done in the city's east end.

Lalonde says Zambito complained of having to pay an extra $300,000 for the Tremka pipes.

to which he says the Tremka rep responded that the money was for former city of Montreal manager Robert Abdallah, who he said had to be 'taken care of.'

Abdallah had gone before the Charbonneau Commission back in October, denying anything like that ever happened.
