Busted for drunk driving...a 17th time
A Sherbrooke man is a 17-time loser.
69-year-old Maurice Larrivée was caught drinking and driving for a 17th time Sunday morning.
He allegedly showed up at a Sherbrooke grocery store at 8:45 in the morning to buy a case of 24 beers, and the cashier, noticing he was drunk, tried to convince him not to drive.
He did anyway, and the store staff called police. He was arrested in the store's parking lot.
Larrivée lost his licence for 5 years after his last drunk-driving conviction in 2005.
