Another interruption on metro
There was another problem on the metro this morning. The second one this week.
For about 35 minutes the orange line between Lionel Groulx and Berri-Uquam was at a standstill due to a stalled train at the Bonaventure station.
Isabelle Tremblay is a spokesperson for the STM. She says what caused the stall is under investigation.
"It's going to go to the garage and we are going to take a look at it," she says.
The train, she says, is a second generation train which means it was built in 1976 for the Olympics. It is younger than the oldest trains which will start being replaced next year.
On Monday, the green line between Lionel-Groulx and Pie-9 was paralyzed for about 3 hours due to an electrical problem.
