Large storm affecting travel across Quebec, Ontario, northeastern U-S
Two converging storm systems are causing problems in an area ranging from the lower Great Lakes to the U-S eastern seaboard.
The system is expected to bring strong winds and about 10 centimetres of snow to the Montreal-area.
Southern Ontario will be hard hit with up to 25 centimetres expected in Toronto.
The flight tracking website FlightAware is reporting that more than 2800 flights in North American have been cancelled so far, most on account of the weather.
Flights are being cancelled or delayed at Trudeau Airport, Pearson in Toronto as well as JFK and LaGuardia in New York City, Newark in Jersey and Logan Airport in Boston.
Boston is expected up to 60 centimetres of snow.
