Five year license suspension for physiotherapist
The professional body overseeing physiotherapists has yanked the license of an Outremont clinic owner for five years.
Motti Gorzhevsky is suspected of orchestrating a fraud that investigators believe totalled one million dollars. The owner of Ortho-Med may face criminal charges for sending bogus bills to the Worker Health and Safety Commission and Auto Insurance Board.
He is also accused of urging employees with lesser qualifications to bill as physiotherapists.
