Driving conditions, particularly off the island, are very dangerous, and it's also a tricky drive in the city.

Many cars could be seen slipping and sliding, swaying from side to side, as CJAD news took a drive around several parts of town including Cote-des-Neiges, Westmount, and downtown. 

Several cars got stuck trying to make it up the hill at Atwater and Victoria Avenue in Westmount.

Meantime, pedestrians are dealing with snow-covered sidewalks and blowing snow in their face. 

The highways are also dangerous covered in black ice in many spots. Several accidents have already been reported.
