It won't speed things up, but Quebecer's waiting for surgery will now have online access to a Health Miniustry website that will give them an idea as to how long they will have to wait.

The Health Ministry has established a bilingual webpage that lists surgical wait times by region and by procedure.

In a news release Health Minister Réjean Hébert says the list will be updated every month.

He says he expects doctors will also consult the page when recommending surgery for their patients.
