Ex customs agent acquitted again of drug charges

Another drug-related acquittal for an ex Montreal airport customs agent.

It's the 2nd acquittal for 38-year old Nancy Cedeno on charges of conspiring to import cocaine into Canada.

She was arrested more than six years ago at Trudeau airport, eventually convicted, though, of accepting mafia bribes.

Quebec's Court of Appeal ordered a re-trial with the same outcome.

A judge has now ruled the mother of two did not know pre-stamped customs cards would be a way to bring drugs into the country.

It happened at a time when she was apparently depressed and having financial problems.

Could it be that she was working undercover? A free pass to break the law. Just don't kill anybody. Nice.
