A 44-year old school bus driver in the Saguenay has been fired and faces a charge of drunk driving after he was found asleep behind the wheel of his parked bus yesterday morning.
No children were aboard.

Police were called by a passerby, who spotted the bus parked near a high school in Jonquière.

They gave him a breathalyzer, arrested him and called the owner of the bus company.

The driver was fired on the spot.

Police say the man had a blood alcohol content double the legal limit.
He's been released pending a court appearance.
