OQLF to leave Buonanotte alone

Not only has Quebec's language police backtracked on demands that an Italian restaurant on St. Laurent Boulevard change its menu, it's dropped the case completely.

Buonanotte confirms to CJAD, the OQLF has called off its investigation calling for French language equivalents for words like pasta.

The move caused an uproar and prompted the tongue troopers to issue a statement last week acknowledging it may have displayed an excess of zeal in promoting the French language.

other businesses that have been investigated should call Lise A Lambert at the OQLF and cry fowl, they should ask why Buonanotte gets exempt from the law.
Is it because they (OQLF) don't want to seem ignorant and silly to the world at how stupid they are at pushing these racist laws.

I would encourage all individuals that have been served notice from OQLF to shear their stories on social media to show the world what is really going on in Quebec.
