A bombshell announcement from UPAC this morning.
The permanent anti-corruption squad has issued arrested warrants for five people including former MUHC director Dr. Arthur Porter.

The UPAC statement says warrants have been issued for: Arthur Porter, Yanaï Elbaz, Jeremy Morris, Riadh Ben Aïssa and Pierre Duhaime.

Elbaz is a former MUHC director. Ben Aïssa is a former vice-president at the engineering firm SNC-Lavalin.

Pierre Duhaime is the former CEO of SNC-Lavalin. He was arrested last year and charged with fraud.

Jeremy Morris has been named by The Globe and Mail as a principal of Sierra Asset Management Inc. which had links to the MUHC superhospital project and SNC-Lavalin.

The UPAC charges today include fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud, and breach of trust.
