	Planetarium set for grand opening Posted By: Andrew Peplowski apeplowski@astral.com · 3/5/2013 8:37:00 AM A year and a half after the Montreal planetarium on St-Jacques was mothballed, the new planetarium is good to go. The city is offering a sneak peak of the Rio Tinto Alcan planetarium with an open house March 16th. The grand opening will be held April 6th. The new planetarium , at a cost of about 46-million dollars has been built at the Olympic Park and is located near the Biodôme, the Insectarium and the Botanical Garden.
