Marois sticking to hard line
Premier Marois supports a new call for a harder line on protection of the French language.
While she says she hasn't seen the new advisory from the Conseil Superieur de la Langue Francaise -- the government's advisory body on language policy -- Marois says the Council's recommendation of a harder line on language law enforcement is perfectly in keeping with her government's approach. She points to the proposed new language law, Bill 14.
As for the pasta kerfuffle, the Premier says it was "ridiculous", and suggests that Quebec already has enough on its plate just taking care of the french language.
Marois refused to take questions in English during her late-morning swing through Montreal.
