Gault Institute faces mould problem
Valleyfield's Gault Institute is closed to students Monday, but not staff.
Before the March Break, the school's principal discovered mould in the office area of the building. More extensive tests revealed other concerns throughout the building.
Parents are complaining their kids attending the elementary school have had headaches, earaches, nausea, nosebleeds, even a pneumonia.
Parents are also accusing the board of lacking transparency in revealing how bad the problem really is.
A protest is planned for Monday morning.
A meeting is scheduled with parents Monday at the Chateauguay Valley Regional High School at 7:00p.m.
