Montreal police are asking the public's help in trying to locate a missing teenager.

Shaianne Bhalai is 13 years old, and was last seen Monday afternoon leaving her school in the Cote-des-Neiges-NDG borough, and never made it back to her home in Verdun.

She's black, is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 125 pounds, has long straight black hair and brown eyes.

She was wearing a school uniform when she disappeared; a dark skirt, a white shirt and a black and yellow striped tie. She was last seen wearing a three-quarter-length beige jacket, gray pants and brown boots.

It's believed she may be in the company of another girl who's 14 years old, and may be in Lasalle, or near the Snowdon or Villa-Maria metro stations.
