New Que. Liberal party leader this weekend
The Quebec Liberal party will pay tribute to Jean Charest later today.
Charest, who led the Liberals for more than a decade, will be honored a day before the party picks his permanent replacement.
There are three candidates: former cabinet ministers Phillipe Couillard, Raymond Bachand and Pierre Moreau.
Nearly 3-thousand delgates will choose a new leader tomorrow.
Jean-Marc Fournier has been interim leader since Charest left politics following his election defeat in September.
Charest, who's a lawyer by profession, has since returned to the private sector.
The candidates took part in five debates, including one in English.
