There's been another deadly fire in Montreal, second one in a 24-hour span.

An overnight fire in a three-storey condo complex on Perras Blvd. in Riviere-des-Prairies has claimed a life, but police say it's not clear if the body is that of a man or woman.

There was word earlier that a man in his 50's has died. 

Flames broke out in a basement unit.

Authorities say an autopsy will be performed and results could be known in the coming days.

Arson investigators have been on the scene because there was a death.

A 4-year old girl died in an apartment fire Friday morning.

Investigators believe the earlier fire started in the kitchen.
