Premier announces temporary rail service for Lac Megantic
Rail service to businesses in the devastated town of Lac-Megantic could be restored by year's end.
Quebec Premier Pauline Marois says a temporary rail link from the main line to the community's industrial park is expected to be built by the end of 2013.
She says the province is still studying the possibility of building a permanent railroad link to serve the town.
A train carrying crude oil jumped the tracks on July 6th, exploded, and obliterated part of the community killing at least 47 people.
