Wife pregnant, couple sues for botched vasectomy
He's a highly ranked doctor at Rate MDs. COM , but for a Rimouski couple he was a complete failure.
Longueuil physician Dr. Charles Talon has been slapped with a $385,000 dollar lawsuit because the wife of one of his patients became pregnant after her husband had a vasectomy.
Apparently , it was a paperwork mixup for follow up testing that resulted in the husband thinking he was sterile, when in fact he was still quite virile.
It was the second marriage for him, and he has four children from that previous marriage.
In the statement of claim, his new wife says she developed depression after the birth of their child.
Talon says it was the first mistake that he's been associated with in 40-years of practicing medicine.
