Reliance submits PCB clean up plan
A West Island Company under orders by the Quebec Environment Ministry to clean up PCB's on its Pointe Claire property has met a deadline to submit a clean up plan.
CTV News reports the plan was submitted Tuesday morning and includes moving the contaminated oil into a secured extension at Reliance Power Equipment's Hymus location.
A complete inventory of the toxic waste will be taken, followed by soil samples to see how much PCB's leaked into the ground.
A public meeting is scheduled for Thursday night at Pointe Claire City Hall.
