Que. Liberals developing election platform
Members of Quebec's Liberal party are meeting today to develop an election platform.
It's said to include the economy and employment as well as the goverment's planned values charter.
Leader Phillipe Couillard says comments on multiculturalism made by Premier Pauline Marois, in defending the charter, are unacceptable for someone who leads a government.
Couillard adds Marois needs to apologize for statements made in a newspaper interview saying Britain's policy on multiculturalism has led people to beat each other up and set off bombs.
Couillard says if he becomes premier, he'll defend Quebecers' freedoms and promote openess.
There's speculation Quebecers might go to the polls December 9th.
