Candlelight vigil for victims of Ottawa crash
A number of people gathered for a candlelight vigil on rail tracks in the west end of Ottawa tonight.
They met near the level crossing where a Via Rail train and a city bus collided during the morning rush hour, leaving six people dead and more than 30 injured.
Witnesses say the double-decker bus crashed into the train even though the crossing's lights were flashing and the safety barriers were lowered.
The bus driver is among the dead.
The Transportation Safety Board has 11 investigators working to determine what happened.
