Liberals falter, both federally and provincially
It looks as though the honeymoon is over for the new leaders of both the provincial and federal Liberals.
Fresh numbers from CROP for La Presse show the popularity of the Quebec Liberals under Philippe Couillard has declined five points to 35-percent over the past month.
The polling was done before word broke about UPAC's interest in the party.
During the same period, the popularity of the PQ rose one point, to 30-percent.
On the federal scene, the Liberals under Justin Trudeau are down ten points, to 31-percent of voter support. The NDP gained six points, to reach 33-percent this month and the Harper Tories were stable at 14-percent.
